October 2019 Charity Engagement
Kindness Works!
Working with so many amazing charities, the team here at Good2Give is acutely aware of the work you do for our causes and communities, and it’s so encouraging to see the corporate world supporting wide-ranging benefits this support brings – take a look at Why Kindness is Good for Business.
It’s great to see the tangible results of this approach too. We’re delighted our client REA group has ranked 6th in the Australian Great Place to Work study, a significant achievement which they attribute in part to their commitment to charitable community engagement. The Charities Aid Foundation 10th World Giving Index has added to that narrative by highlighting the need for that generosity to keep increasing, a message we can all deliver together.
Make a Theme for Giving
This time of year offers a host of opportunities to make the most of high profile campaigns and unify your messaging around a central theme. Giving Tuesday is a great way to become part of a global movement, and make sure to use our Christmas Workplace Giving Toolkit to add some festive cheer to your regular messages to donors – it’s the season of giving after all!
Innovation for Inspiration
The Westpac Group Giving Circles at Work pilot is now ready to receive applications! If you’re a DGR1 registered charity operating in NSW, find out if you’re eligible to apply.
In another Westpac Group project, their Giving Tree was a great example of an innovative way to engage employees and customers in a visually impactful and physically impressive way. This creative execution helped inspire employees to participate, prompting the significant benefits for the charities concerned.
Check out this GoFundraise product that is right on trend regarding lessening environmental impact. This format is currently being used by Legacy to augment the traditional plastic and paper poppy with a virtual solution, also creating a greater opportunity for follow-up donor engagement through digital communication.
