Winter Giving Initiative

Today is the day to start your Winter Giving initiative. In the last ten years, 5km, 10km, fun runs and half marathons have risen in popularity, so starting your Fundraising at Work campaign couldn’t be easier. Before the training begins, rally your staff members together to login to your Workplace Giving platform, go to the fundraising tab and select ‘Start Fundraising’. With over 2000 charities to choose from on our platform, your staff members can find one that’s just right for them. If you would like more information about Fundraising at Work, check out our page here.

Gender equality

Almost 40 per cent of 2.8 billion women and girls live in poor or very poor conditions, which is a shocking statistic. With the global average score being ‘poor’, now is the time we really need to do more. Good2Give has supported gender equality through various campaigns such as UN Women National Committee Australia naming Good2Give as official workplace giving partner and ‘How Business Can Fuel Change’ recently and will continue to do so. There should be no excuse for gender inequality in 2019. Begin showing support to women and girls by creating a campaign through your business and give through Workplace Giving.

Sustainable Development Goals

It’s important to remind ourselves of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that have been set by the United Nations. The SDGs include gender equality, climate action, quality education and many more. Impact 2030 is a private sector-led initiative in collaboration with the United Nations to help businesses achieve their SDGs. They will be hosting a free event on 1 July 2019 in Sydney. To join the event, click here. We look forward to seeing you there!
