We’ve seen stand out corporate community initiatives over the past three months, including successful workplace giving appeals, a new charity partnership and significant grant programs making a difference.
In October, REA Group rolled out Good2Give’s Workplace Giving Platform. Jumping head first into the launch, REA has tripled their employee participation, and run four workplace giving appeals for charities including Australia Red Cross, White Ribbon and Launch Housing.
The increasing number of client appeals led to a record high charity payout of employee donations in October – $1.3 million in donations. Meanwhile, Good2Give recently granted close to $300,000 to Australian not-for-profits as part of the Safer Queensland Community grant program and the Toyota Employee Community grants program.
It’s also wonderful to see Zurich announce its new charity partnership with Raise Foundation. After a rigorous selection process conducted by Good2Give, Zurich and Raise have embarked on a partnership to further a shared commitment to build wellbeing and health among young Australians.
Toyota’s Good for Cricket program released a video of its work to support local communities come together. Offering comprehensive logistic and due diligence support, Good2Give supported Good for Cricket raise over $440,000 in 2015/16, an ongoing initiative that grows each year.
