June Charity Engagement
Winter Giving
As Winter has truly set in across the southern hemisphere, Good2Give has launched our Winter Giving campaign. We are aware that temperatures can dip below zero in parts of Australia where vulnerable people, communities and animals can suffer in these cold conditions. We would love for your charity or organisation to get involved in the Winter Giving campaign, as to connect with new donors and encourage current supports to give more. To participate use #WinterGiving2019 on your social media posts between now and 31 August 2019.
The Reject Shop Foundation

REA Group – Employee Community Grants Program
With more 1,500 employees across Australia and Asia and a genuine focus on helping others, REA Group has certainly changed the lives of many people. In 2015, the team created a program to make it easy for employees to give back to community organisations close to their heart, called Because We Care, which includes an Employee Community Grants program. This program was created to support local grass-root organisations across Australia which REA employees or their immediate families are involved with.
Since launching, REA Group has distributed $319,358 in grant funding across local schools, sporting clubs, scout groups and many more deserving community organisations. REA runs three grant rounds each year and there are always applications on the waiting list for the next round! You can read about one of REA’s recent Employee Community Grants recipients here.
