Ingredients for a Community Investment Healthcheck

Managing a community strategy is hard work and it is often very difficult to step back from ‘doing’ to find out how you’re doing. A good strategy will be cemented in clear frameworks for measurement and evaluation, of course, but there are times when you need to just check the pulse of your program – including:

  •  A newly launched program in its first quarter – check sentiment, understanding and engagement.
  • When the evaluation comes back flat with no indicators looking up or down – you might like to explore how you can change things up a bit.
  • When you’re adapting your program to a new area of your business.
  • When your program has been in place for more than five years and you’re considering a different direction.

That’s where a community strategy healthcheck can help. It’s not an onerous task, doesn’t have to cost the world and can be light touch so you can test the waters without creating a big splash just yet.

Good2Give provides our clients with this service, which – when implemented in full includes:

  • An internal engagement survey with stakeholders at all levels or specific groups.
  • An evaluation of communication and engagement tools and channels.
  • A review of your charity partnerships.
  • A review of your giving and grant making initiatives and programs.

The AHRI National Convention and Exhibition took place from 21 – 24 August at the International Convention Centre in Sydney. At this event, Good2Give ran a promotional giveaway of two free lite versions of our Community Investment Strategy Health Check. We are delighted to announce that the winners of the draw were Sunsuper and Domain.
