For the second year running UN Women National Committee Australia names Good2Give as official workplace giving partner for International Women’s Day.

Building on the successful partnership in 2018, Good2Give is delighted to be the continued official workplace giving partner for UN Women National Committee Australia’s International Women’s Day Campaign.

This year’s theme is “More Powerful Together”. The theme represents and recognises that it takes all of us — women, men, non-binary, and gender diverse people across faith, politics, race and ethnicity – as a united front against stereotypes, pay inequality, discrimination and much much more.

In 2018, we saw the rise of women’s movements tackling injustice in politics, the workplace, on sports fields, in faith communities and at home, and it sparked something in us all. Now, in 2019, is the right time to unite, collaborate and be More Powerful Together.

According to the UN Women National Committee Australia, women make up just 23.8% of parliaments across the world and more than half a billion women in the world today live in unacceptable conditions of poverty. This is the time for major change in every way of life.

UN Women National Committee Australia is again coordinating their preeminent International Women’s Day event series across Australia from Tuesday 5 March to Friday 8 March 2019. Each event features diverse guest speakers addressing topics such as women’s political participation, building a more sustainable and diverse future and how workplaces can implement positive change.
