Emergency evacuation warnings have been issued all across Victoria and New South Wales due to torrential rains and flooding. More than a thousand homes have been inundated with water in just a few days. Rain is expected to continue, threatening thousands more homes. In Tasmania dozens of properties and hundreds of people are similarly effected and with more rain expected in the coming days and weeks this number will rise.

Emergency relief centres and Recovery Assistance Points have been set up across Victoria and New South Wales to provide support to those affected by the crisis. The Australian Defence Force has been deployed and is already providing support with evacuations, sandbagging, and some of the early stages of the clean-up.

Charities are also providing much-needed relief and support to those impacted. Your donation to these charities will make a difference.
