How to help employees find you

Follow these three steps to showcase your charity to its full potential and ensure it is noticed by as many potential donors as possible.

Step 1

Be easy to find

Employees can search for you by name, keyword or cause area.

To ensure you come up in search results:

  1. Sign in at my.good2give.ngo.
  2. Go to the Profile tab and click Edit.
  3. Select the most relevant Cause Area.
  4. Enter all the possible keywords that people could use to find you (e.g. name, projects, brand).
  5. Press Save.

Step 2

Maximise your promotion

Get your charity noticed by employees by encouraging:

  • Your supporters to run engaging internal campaigns to drive new donations. This will help secure your place as a ‘trending charity’ at that company and further boost your exposure across this company
  • Workplace Giving Managers to showcase your charity using the appeal feature. Use imagery and wording that reinforces the depth and history of your partnership, and encourage donations as an effective way to continue their support.

Step 3

Make your charity stand out

Customise your Charity Profile to create a look and feel that is appealing, unique and easily recognisable.

Here’s how:

  1. Sign in at my.good2give.ngo.
  2. Go to the Profile tab and click Edit.
  3. Choose a colour palette that best matches your branding.
  4. Choose a vibrant image that represents your identity.
  5. Upload a logo that is 100 x 100 pixels (optimal size).
  6. Press Save.

Top tips

Reach out to your supporters who already have access to workplace giving. Let them know:

  • They can now find and support you on Good2Give.
  • Workplace giving is the best way to donate to your charity.
  • Their regular donations can be moved to Good2Give to take advantage of company matching (if available).
