DescriptionEvery week five more Australians sustain a spinal cord injury and another 10 to 15 suffer from traumatic brain injury. The impact of these injuries extends far beyond the point of trauma as each person faces new challenges and barriers to independence and inclusion.Royal Rehab is dedicated to changing this; to enabling choice and to creating better stories for people with disability.Founded in 1899, Royal Rehab is a non-profit organisation providing spcialist rehabilitation and disability support services for people who have acquired a disability or impairment through trauma, accident or illness. Our services include on-site and at-home rehabilitation for brain and spinal cord injury, lifestyle support services that provide long-term supported accommodation options and programs, outpatient and community rehabilitation services, and a 24-bed purpose-build Private Hospital providing a range of intensive inpatient and day rehabilitation programs.Community support and generosity enables us to continue providing vital and innovative care, support and services that connect our clients back to their lives and back to their communities.
