As research and education represent our best hopes for making a difference to the quality of life of more than 6 million Australians who suffer from musculoskeletal conditions, the Foundation will also be supporting educational campaigns and programs from 2012 to assist in achieving its mission of Healthy Bones for Every Body". In Australia today, one in three people suffer from musculoskeletal conditions that include scoliosis, sciatica, osteoporosis, rickets, and poor-healing fractures that could have been prevented or minimized if the foundations to strong bones were laid in the early years of life.
